Pozivamo vas na projekciju kratkih filmova kanadskog reditelja Roberta Santaguide i razgovor sa autorom u četvrtak 17. oktobra 2019. u sali 1 na Akademiji umetnosti u objektu koji se nalazi u Kosovskoj 33 sa početkom u 19:30 časova.
Od završetka studija filmske produkcije na Univerzitetu Konkordija filmovi i video radovi Roberta Santaguide su prikazani na više od tri stotine međunarodnih festivala, uključujući Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival (Danska), Contemporary Art Festival Sesc_Videobrasil (Brazil), Transmediale (Nemačka) kao i Festival international du film Entrevues Belfort (Francuska). On je, takođe, bio deo mnogih art rezident programa i dobitnik je nagrade K.M. Hunter Artist Award, kao i stipendije pri Akademie Schloss Solitude u Nemačkoj.

My artistic work have been informed by the desire to bring people back to the agora by the very technology that tends to screen them from the vital discussion of their survival and fulfillment in society. I want to help individuals reframe experiences of longing and frustration as sites of discovery and potential, transcend the trappings of isolation and open a connection to an audience and, in so doing, transform the autobiographical into the universal. I pursue documentary projects that reflect a form that is alive, evolving and thwarting our expectations of what a documentary can be, both formally and thematically.
