Gostujuće predavanje Eloize Amaral pod nazivom „Želja za povezivanjem: uvod u muzičko kustostvo“ održaće se u ponedeljak, 11. april 2022. na Akademiji umetnosti u objketu koji se nalazi u ulici Kosovska 33 sa početkom u 17 časova.

Koncert nikad nije samo neutralni okvir za muziku. Naprotiv, kontekst muzičkog izvođenja, vidovi prisustva i uključivanja publike, programske tekstovi i knjižice – sve su to elementi koji utiču na izvođenje i slušanje na izuzetne načine. Svesni toga, mnogi muzičari danas razmišljaju o ovim elementima kao delu njihove umetničke prakse, istražujući ih kako bi privukli novu publiku i ponudili nova muzička iskustva.
U svom predavanju, Eloiza Amaral će prikazati neke od najprivlačnijih primera muzičkog kustostva, kako istorijskih tako i savremenih, pozivajući učesnike da podele sopstvena iskustva.
Predavanje je inspirisano istoimenim radom objavljenim 2020.
Eloiza Amaral (Heloisa Amaral) je pijanista, umetnik-istraživač i kustos. Član je dua Hellqvist/Amaral i ansambla neon, a sarađivala je i sa kompozitorima poput Džoane Bejli, Sajmonom Stin-Andersenom, Johanesom Krajdlerom, Filom Niblokom, Helmutom Lahenmanom, Natašom Baret, Janom St. Vernerom, Marinom Rosenfeld i Ketrin Lamb.
Pored rada kao kustos Centra za novu muziku Ny Musikk u Oslu i programa Ultima Akademije u okviru Ultima festivala u Oslu do 2015. godine, bila je angažovana kao savetnik istraživačkog projekta „Defragmentacija – kustostvo savremene muzike“, uz držanje radionica o kustostvu i tehnikama davanja fidbeka za mentore i studente Letnje škole za novu muziku u Darmštatu, Višem masteru za savremenu muziku u Gentu, Orfeus institutu i Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie za savremeno muzičko izvođaštvo.
Trenutno je Eloiza angažovana na Kraljevskom konzervatorijumu u Hagu u svojstvu predavača u oblasti umetničkih istraživanja i kustoskim praksama, dok takođe radi svoje doktorsko istraživanja na Univerzitetu u Lajdenu (Holandija).
Yearning to Connect: A Short Introduction to Music Curatorship
A concert is never just a neutral container for music. On the contrary, the context of a musical production, forms of audience involvement and display, programme texts, etc. are all elements that affect performance and listening in remarkable ways. Aware of this, many musicians today think of these elements as part of their artistic practice, exploring them to engage new audiences and propose new musical experiences. In this talk, I will discuss compelling examples, recent and historical, and invite participants to share their own personal experience. The talk is inspired by a text with the same title published in 2020.
Heloisa Amaral (PT/BRA/NO) is a pianist, artist-researcher and curator. Musical partnerships include Duo Hellqvist/Amaral and Ensemble neoN as well as collaborations with composers such as Joanna Bailie, Simon Steen-Andersen, Johannes Kreidler, Phil Niblock, Helmut Lachenmann, Natasha Barrett, Jan St. Werner, Marina Rosenfeld and Catherine Lamb. Former curator at Ny Musikk and programmer of Ultima Academy at the Oslo Ultima Festival until 2015, Heloisa has been an advisor of the research project DEFRAGMENTATION – Curating contemporary music, in addition to teaching workshops on curatorship and feedback techniques for research supervisors and musicians at the Summer Course for New Music Darmstadt, the Advanced Master of Contemporary Music in Gent, the Orpheus Institute and the Ensemble Modern Akademie. Currently, Heloisa lectures in artistic research and curatorial practices in music at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and pursues an artistic-research PhD at the University of Leiden (NL).
